Saudi plan to strike Houthis soon

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plans to launch a military attack against the Houthi Movement (Ansar Allah) in Yemen within the next few weeks, aiming to halt their rapid advance along the coast and their control over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The offensive options include a limited operation around the area of the strait or a broader attack involving multiple fronts in the governorates of Al-Bayda, Marib, Taiz, and Al-Jawf. It is noted that Yemeni forces will lead the operations with Saudi air support, without the involvement of ground troops, backed by the United States and regional countries, with the goal of restoring the situation to the state before the Houthis' progress and securing the navigation passage in the Red Sea.
