Egypt opposition coalition faces ideological splits

The article discusses the efforts of the "Civil Democratic" movement to renew its internal structures in order to strengthen its political unity, especially after internal disagreements with the "Constitution" Party, which objected to the formation of the executive committee and the lack of liberal representation. Following consultations and talks to bridge differences among the parties, the "Civil" movement reintroduced liberal representation through Dr. Wafa Sabry, aiming to preserve cohesion and unify their vision. Experts believe that overcoming ideological differences is possible by identifying points of disagreement and agreement, expanding participatory inclusiveness, and emphasizing internal communication to maintain the movement's unity. This is seen as vital to enhancing its ability to engage with various political currents and to strengthen its cohesion in face of challenges.
