Netanyahu discusses 9/11 and FlyDubai crash
The incident involving the attempt to hijack a Fly Dubai plane from Dubai to Tel Aviv indicates an attempted terrorist attack onboard the flight. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the bravery of the passengers and crew who managed to overpower the attacker, who is believed to be an Omani national, after he stabbed the Indian pilot and injured several crew members. The plane was freed and made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, while Emirati and Saudi authorities are investigating the details. It is suspected that there may be a possible link to Iran in the incident, and the situation has led to heightened security surveillance on flights between the UAE and Israel.
