Suspect's escape from security screening

Drawing from the incident involving the "Fly Dubai" flight headed to Israel, questions are raised about how the suspect, an Omani citizen, was able to pass security screening despite the lack of official diplomatic relations between Oman and Israel. The identity of the attacker or their motive for the attack has not yet been disclosed, but it is believed that the attacker holds Omani nationality and had worked for Fly Dubai for only 8 months prior to the incident. An Israeli official indicates that the Shin Bet is responsible for vetting all airline employees traveling to Israel, but the results of the background check in this case remain unclear.
