US Defense Secretary unveils new Self-War Leadership plan

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the creation of the "Self-Directed Warfare Command," a new four-star combat leadership that aims to expand autonomous and robotic capabilities for joint forces. Expectations include a radical shift in the mechanisms for purchasing, testing, and deploying drones and advanced technologies. The department will triple its spending on autonomous warfare, allocating $74 billion to this sector. Additionally, prominent figures such as Elon Musk and Newt Gingrich have been announced to participate in leading a field project to study the future of warfare. Plans also include reducing the number of generals and admirals by 20% and establishing a new base capable of accommodating between 15,000 and 20,000 soldiers.
