Trump declares US military withdrawal from Iraq

The United States announces the final withdrawal of its forces from Iraq, considering it a victory over ISIS and the end of Operation "Enduring Freedom" that began in 2003. President Trump confirmed that the withdrawal marks the end of a long period of poor decisions that led to the war and that it was carried out in an organized manner, with the new Iraqi Prime Minister, Ali al-Zaydi, whom he described as an outstanding figure. He also pointed out that this withdrawal reflects success in eliminating ISIS and has saved significant costs for the United States, explaining that the decision to withdraw was made when it felt that the time had come to return home.
