Iraqiji Gets US Response via Mediators

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi received a response from Washington through intermediaries regarding a proposed confidence-building plan over a period of seven days, aimed at reactivating the memorandum of understanding between the two sides from June. The American response is expected to be discussed in Tehran today, amid a major disagreement over the sequence of steps in the plan. Nevertheless, the plan focuses on building trust and establishing a framework for returning to the agreement. Tehran had previously warned of the possibility of attacking its infrastructure if it is not allowed to export its oil, after eight months of escalating tensions with Washington.
