Human rights report details Iran violence

The Human Rights Organization "HRANA" documented in its monthly report an escalation of violence and human rights violations in Iran and Eastern Kurdistan during September. This has resulted in the killing of 12 women, five of whom were executed, as well as instances of domestic violence. Over 403 individuals were detained, and death sentences were issued against 75 people, including eight women. The education sector in the region also experienced repressive measures, such as summoning students and suspending some from classes in an effort to suppress opposition activities.
