Syrian officials stop ballooned drug smuggling

Syrian authorities thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs from the Sweida countryside using guided balloons. During the operation, they seized 218,000 captagon pills, 44 kilograms of hashish, and GPS devices.
