Yemeni Army Advances Near Al-Hudaydah

Clashes continued between Yemeni government forces and the Houthis in the western coast and Taiz, as the ground escalation entered its fourth day, with Yemeni forces shifting from containment of attacks to pursuing the Houthis in the southeastern part of Al Hudaydah. Yemeni forces captured dozens of Houthi militants, most of whom are minors, while advancing from north of Hais towards the Jableh district. It was also announced that the entire center and district of Hais have been liberated, although rural areas have remained under Houthi control for years, despite their liberation in 2018. On the Jabal Habbashi front in Taiz, the Houthis achieved a field breakthrough threatening the main road between Taiz and Al Mukha, and forces are working to regain and secure it.
