The exercise, which began on September 5, 2026, includes live-fire drills, at-sea replenishment, and maritime search and rescue operations. The participating ships are the Chinese frigate Dali and the Singaporean RSS Staidfast. The objective is to improve joint capabilities for safeguarding regional peace and stability through exchanges and maritime and land maneuvers between the two sides. The exercise is carried out in two phases, building on the first joint training in 2015, and this cooperation has been maintained regularly in recent years.
