China and UAE hold joint air force drills

China and the United Arab Emirates conducted joint aerial exercises called "Falcon Shield 2026" in Khotan, Xinjiang region, northwest China. The training lasted from late August to mid-September and included command simulations, flight training, and field drills within mixed formations. The aim of the exercise is to enhance tactical capabilities and deepen cooperation between the armed forces of both countries. This is the fourth in the series of "Falcon Shield" exercises.
