US sells two oil tankers after Venezuela operation

The two tankers, Ira and Lilio, previously operated under the names Marinera and Bella 1, and the other under Galileo and Veronica. They are set to be dismantled at scrap yards in India. This operation follows the U.S. Forces' seizure of the tanker Ira in January offshore Iceland. The Ira had been used to transport sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran and was confiscated by the United States after a weeks-long chase.
