Emirates anticipates Boeing 777-9 delivery in 2027

Emirates Airlines has projected that it will receive its Boeing 777-9 aircraft in the second quarter of 2027, after a delay that has persisted since April 2020, due to Boeing awaiting certification for the aircraft. Emirates is the world's largest operator of Boeing 777s and holds the largest order for the 777X model to support its expansion in response to growing travel demand and to develop its international network. The airline expects to return to operating around 90% of its capacity by next August.
