Egyptian actor Ahmed Galal Abdelkawy dies at 42

Egyptian actor Ahmed Gabal Abdelqawi has passed away at the age of 42 after battling cancer. He had been suffering from a tumor in his diaphragm and underwent treatments and medical follow-up. He began his artistic career at the age of 13 and participated in several significant works, including "Hadzir al-Muttaham Aby" ("Your Honor, My Lord") and "Hadith al-Sabah wal-Masaa" ("Morning and Evening Talk"). However, his career faced setbacks due to laziness, procrastination, arrogance, as well as a four-year struggle with drug addiction following back surgery. His body will be taken to be buried at Al-Hosary Mosque in October City, 6th of October, Giza Governorate, after Asr prayer today.
