Residents Demand Permanent Civil Defense Station
The article addresses the demands of the residents of the Jomineh district in Ben Arous Governorate for the establishment of a permanent Civil Defense point, following an accident involving a motorcycle colliding with a family car that resulted in various injuries. Although Civil Protection personnel in Sijoumi responded quickly, the absence of a fixed station in the area requires traveling between 44 to 90 kilometers to transport the injured or extinguish fires, which endangers lives and delays the delivery of emergency services. The residents have long been calling for the establishment of a permanent Civil Protection station to reduce response times and improve emergency response efforts.
