Finance bill allocates 100B for olive oil

The proposed 2027 draft finance law includes measures to support the olive oil sector by establishing a financing line of 100 million dinars for small farmers and cooperative companies, aimed at granting seasonal and investment loans through the National Agricultural Bank. The project also proposes creating a dedicated account to finance the olive oil system, funded by revenues from oil exports and grants, with a modification of the resource allocation ratio from 50% to 40%. Additionally, the proposal entails expanding tax incentives to include locally manufactured equipment, requiring importers to adhere to an industrial program for qualification, with the goal of strengthening olive oil production and developing the sector.
