Details of the 5th Tunisian Book Fair

The organization of the fifth edition of the Tunisian National Book Exhibition has been revealed, set to take place from October 23 to November 1, 2026, at the Carthage Cultural Center. The exhibition will feature 66 publishers showcasing 1,400 titles across various literary genres, with a focus on promoting a reading culture and reigniting the presence of books—especially for children and young people—through interactive programs and activities. The event will include new awards valued at 10,000 dinars for intellectual and pedagogical studies aimed at children, as well as honoring cultural figures from the Nabeul region. School trips will be organized to encourage engagement with readers, and government support for the sector will continue through a budget estimated at 9 million dinars. The goal of the exhibition is to become an annual event that fosters the reading habit and makes books a constant companion, accompanied by a rich cultural program where literature and arts converge.
