Traffic diverted at south entrance from today
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing has begun implementing the expansion project for the southern entrance to the capital. Road paving work will be carried out in the Jbel Jloud area over an approximate distance of one kilometer. This will require a partial traffic diversion to two lanes in each direction, for those heading toward downtown Tunis or leaving it toward Sousse, for a duration of one week starting from October 13, 2026. The ministry has urged drivers to comply with traffic signals and to reduce speed near the site.
