Nabel Enhances Regional Health Capacity
The Health Sector in the state of Nabeul has achieved a significant leap forward through the implementation of several projects and the provision of modern equipment in hospitals and health centers. This included equipping 38 primary health care centers aimed at improving and bringing medical services closer to the population, as well as enhancing the infrastructure at Mohamed Tlatli Hospital with a cost reaching 1.2 billion dinars. Additionally, hospitals were equipped with departments specializing in surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and gastrointestinal surgery, and two new scanner units were established at Manzel Tlemim Hospital and Grombalia Hospital. To strengthen emergency services, the state of Nabeul increased its mobile intensive care units from two to five by 2027, ensuring rapid and effective intervention in emergency cases.
