Tunisia Hospitals Emergency Declaration

The Union of Doctors, Pharmacists, and Hospital Dentists in Tunisia, in coordination with the Tunisian Organization of Young Doctors, announced the organization of a series of general meetings over four days from October 5 to 8 at medical faculties in various cities. The purpose is to discuss the deterioration of working conditions in public hospitals and the social circumstances of doctors. These escalating actions come in response to the worsening state of medical training and the increasing professional and social difficulties faced by the public healthcare sector. Future protest measures are also expected to be taken to defend the health sector and the dignity of its workers.
