Algeria Considers Welcoming Its Migrant Thinkers

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune issued an open invitation to Algerian researchers and scientists living abroad to participate in the country's development by reinvesting their scientific expertise. He also called for reviving the idea of establishing the "Supreme Council of the National Scientific Diaspora Abroad" to link the national economy with the global scientific journey. He emphasized that Algeria is now capable of welcoming and investing in the scientific talents of expatriates, and that this phase of intellectual and scientific openness requires moving beyond ideology and embracing distinguished individuals from abroad. Many of them hold prestigious positions in other countries and are eager to contribute to the nation's development.
