Water outage in six districts from October 6

The National Water Company in Tunisia began temporary water cuts early Tuesday, October 6, 2026, lasting for 36 hours in the Ariana and Tunis districts. This includes the neighborhoods of Bousailia, El Kram, Carthage, Green Neighborhood, Heliopolis, and Sakhra, in order to complete flood protection projects and upgrade the water network. Water supply is expected to gradually resume starting midday on Wednesday, October 7. These measures come after the discovery of an obstacle in a main distribution channel that impedes the completion of scheduled work.
