Tunisie Telegraph Launches Honor Loan Apps

Today, Tunisia launched a process for submitting "honor loan" requests through digital banking platforms, aiming to support the economy and individuals with interest-free financing. The loan amounts range from 5,000 to 25,000 Tunisian dinars, depending on the target category. The benefits include zero interest, exemption from fees and collateral requirements, with repayment periods of up to two years and a possible grace period of six months. Only 19 out of 23 banks will be able to provide these loans, as four banks will not participate due to expected losses in 2025. The approval process is based on the borrower's repayment ability and an assessment of the economic feasibility of the project.
