Al-Mahdia advances educational initiatives
During the 2026-2027 academic year, the Medenine Governorate witnessed a series of projects and interventions aimed at improving studying conditions and developing the infrastructure of educational institutions. These initiatives included establishing two new institutions: the middle school in Rouwadi and the primary school in Boumradis, as well as carrying out maintenance work and adding classrooms and preparatory spaces in several institutions. Schools were also equipped with new supplies, including 90 photocopiers and approximately 4,000 new school desks, along with enhanced security measures through consultations for the acquisition and installation of surveillance cameras in around 100 schools, at a cost of nearly 111,000 dinars. The head of the department at the Regional Directorate of Education for the area, Mr. Imad Halouani, was briefed on the major development and equipment projects aimed at improving the educational environment in the region.
