Alroya Cruise Saudi Arabia has announced the expansion of its Mediterranean cruise program for the 2027 season, adding a new destination that includes the Port of La Goulette in Tunisia as part of long-distance itineraries departing from Istanbul. The program features two trips, each lasting 14 nights, with stops in Turkey, Greece, Italy, Tunisia, and Malta, including overnight stays in some ports. This move strengthens Tunisia's re-entry into regional medium- and long-length cruise routes. The voyages will also include itineraries ranging from six to eight nights, with the addition of new ports such as Alexandria, which will host its first departure as a port of embarkation. The company plans to launch a winter season starting October 2026, featuring seven-night cruises that include Turkey and Egypt, with an overnight stay in Alexandria. Arroya Cruise is the first Saudi company specializing in cruising, operated by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The inclusion of La Goulette in the program aims to boost maritime tourism in Tunisia and increase visitor access through this travel mode.
