113 taxi licenses offered in Kairouan

The Kairouan Governorate has announced the opening of applications for 113 non-regular public transport licenses, including 108 licenses for individual taxis within urban districts (municipalities of Kairouan, Raqada, Ubaida, and Shbiqa), two licenses for persons with disabilities, and three licenses in the Hajj Oba district. Applications will be accepted from September 17, 2026, until December 16, 2026. Applicants must be residents of the governorate, have no criminal record, possess professional qualifications, not be affiliated with state agencies or public institutions, be fully dedicated to the taxi profession, have income not exceeding three times the minimum wage, possess suitable material resources, and have no bankruptcy ruling issued against them.
