Canada and Tunisia agree on new air rights

Canada and Tunisia agree on new air rights

The Canadian Ministry of Transport has announced that the new rights for air travel between Canada and Tunisia have come into effect immediately, prior to the official signing of the agreement. Operating rights have been expanded to include an increase in the number of weekly flights from 4 to 7, as well as access to all airports and cities in both countries, along with expanded air cargo rights. However, establishing new routes or increasing flight frequencies depends on decisions made by commercial and operational airlines and does not happen automatically with the activation of the new rights. This provides Tunisian and Canadian airlines greater flexibility to develop their services, but the launch dates of new flights will be determined by the decisions of the respective companies.
