Medenine hosts 254 primary schools
At the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year, the Medenine Governorate welcomed approximately 125,000 students across 254 primary schools, 85 middle schools, and high schools. Several measures were implemented to improve educational conditions. About 50 new teachers were appointed to fill vacancies, more than 3,000 double desks were distributed, along with 70 various copying machines, to strengthen infrastructure and school equipment. Additionally, around 80 projects involving maintenance and refurbishment were recorded, and 10 educational institutions were added to the one-shift system. These measures aim to reduce difficulties and enhance the quality of education in the region.
