945M Dinars for Railway Expansion

Tunisia intends to improve the railway line connecting the capital to Bizerte through a rehabilitation project costing 945 million dinars, financed by the European Investment Bank and the African Development Bank. The project will help increase train speeds from 50 kilometers per hour to 140 kilometers per hour in the first phase, then to 160 kilometers per hour later, by strengthening infrastructure, upgrading stations, and creating overpasses and underpasses.
