Education Ministry allocates 672M dinars for school readiness

The Ministry of Education confirmed that investments made to upgrade infrastructure and equip educational institutions in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year have exceeded 672 million dinars, representing an increase of approximately 40 million dinars compared to the previous academic year. Additionally, more than 1,200 maintenance interventions were carried out on institutions at a cost of nearly 400 million dinars, along with 68 million dinars allocated for building and repairing fences. About 100,000 desks were purchased at a cost of over 33 million dinars, and 3,000 copying machines at more than 15 million dinars, along with media equipment and laboratory supplies to support the learning environment. Regarding security, a program is underway to install surveillance cameras in 2,000 schools to ensure the protection of institutions and students.
