Back to School: 23 Schools Opened With 300 New Spaces

The Minister of Education, Nouridine Nouri, announced the opening of 23 new educational institutions during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, including an educational sports complex in Kairouan and two "Second Chance" schools in Bagha and Nabeul. Additionally, around 300 new spaces will be created, and classrooms will be developed and specialized, along with approximately 1,200 interventions to prepare facilities and build fences. Several schools have been equipped with advanced computer and technological laboratories, and about 100,000 double desks have been provided. Renovations and improvements have also been made to the spaces in preparatory classes, all aimed at enhancing infrastructure and educational quality before the start of the academic year.
