ChatGPT enables task execution in Chrome
OpenAI has launched a new update adding ChatGPT to the Google Chrome browser, allowing the smart assistant to access open tabs and utilize information from them to answer questions and perform tasks without the need to manually copy content. Users can share webpage content for analysis, compare products or services, and directly execute tasks such as filling out forms, sending messages, downloading files, and organizing tabs. The update requires installing the extension and granting the necessary permissions, with options provided to control which sites and information are accessible. This enhances ChatGPT’s ability to handle daily online tasks and reduces the need to switch between applications.
