Apple’s iPhone TV showcase list

Apple enforces strict restrictions on the appearance of its products, especially iPhones, in television and movie media to protect its brand image. The company requires that iPhones be clearly visible in all scenes without protective covers or damage, and that their appearance aligns with the time period depicted in the production. They also prohibit showing the phones being used while driving or in illegal contexts. Additionally, the depiction of phones being hacked or used offensively is forbidden, and there are restrictions on their appearance in unlawful scenarios. As a result, many producers prefer using Samsung phones, which are subject to fewer restrictions. Complying with these conditions is difficult, leading some companies to opt for replacing iPhones with Samsung devices to avoid legal repercussions and production complications.
