Trump warns Houthis after midterms

Under the title of the Houthi escalation and potential Iranian involvement, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the Houthi group is once again targeting Saudi Arabia and driving up oil prices, most likely under Iran's direction, ahead of the November midterm elections. He stated that the Houthis acted poorly after a temporary halt to their attacks following previous American strikes, warning that this could affect U.S. interests. He also described Iran as a failing state and faced widespread criticism, cautioning that the Houthis are deliberately trying to increase oil prices, and that he will remain vigilant after the elections.
