Samsung speeds up One UI 9.5 testing

Samsung is working on developing and intensifying testing for its One UI 9.5 software update. Internal versions for October 2026 have been spotted on several of its flagship phones, including the Galaxy S26 series, Z Fold 8, Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The official rollout of One UI 9.5 is expected with the launch of the Galaxy S27 series next year, with a possibility of starting the beta program before the end of 2026—especially for the new series. Later, the update is likely to include foldable phones and older devices. The update is based on Android 17 and is expected to bring design changes and new features, particularly within the Galaxy AI ecosystem, focusing on the concept of Agentic AI—assistive AI that helps execute tasks directly and in real-time.
