Apple has decided to launch a new generation of its desktop computers, the "Mac Mini" and "Mac Studio," equipped with M6, M5 Pro, M5 Max, and M5 Ultra processors. The goal is to meet the needs of professional users in the fields of programming, design, and artificial intelligence. The new devices are based on processors that include integrated neural accelerators, enabling local operation of AI models with significantly improved performance—where the "Mac Mini" with an M6 chip achieves up to four times the performance of the previous generation, and the "Mac Studio," using M5 Max and M5 Ultra processors, reaches high levels that allow for handling complex visual projects and more efficient AI programming. Additionally, the devices support modern communication technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and facilitate connection of multiple devices via Thunderbolt 5. This enhances performance in running local AI models, reduces dependence on cloud servers, and ensures data privacy. The new specifications include a substantial increase in memory capacity and data transfer speeds, with prices starting at $799 for the "Mac Mini" with an M6 processor, up to $5,499 for the "Mac Studio" with the M5 Ultra processor. The devices will be available starting from late October and early September, respectively.
