Galaxy S27 Ultra may upgrade camera tech

Samsung is moving forward with developing the imaging system in the Galaxy S27 Ultra by expanding the use of Inkjet Lens Printing technology within its rear lenses. This technology relies on printing a thin layer of matte ink instead of traditional anti-reflective coatings, which reduces the thickness of the lenses and provides more space to enhance features such as optical stabilization and reduced lens protrusion. It is expected that this technology will include three main imaging units, with a resolution of up to 200 megapixels for the main camera, along with wide-angle lenses and 5x optical zoom. The 3x zoom lens may be eliminated to improve photo quality while maintaining a slimmer design and more sustainable manufacturing.
