HONOR and ARRI launch new filming tech

HONOR, in collaboration with ARRI, launched an innovative imaging system that combines optics and artificial intelligence, aiming to enhance the quality of mobile photography. The system features advanced technology including a Transformer-based image processor, a tri-axis titanium stabilizer to ensure stability, and cloud-based processing tools supporting cinematic filming with features such as a wide dynamic range and fine details. ARRI LogC3 techniques and ARRI Wide Gamut 3 colors have been integrated into the HONOR Robot Phone, along with a joint research lab focused on improving both aesthetic and technical performance in imaging through AI, with the goal of delivering high cinematic standards for content on smartphones.
