Laporta's advisor claims Madrid poisons El Clásico atmosphere

The sports newspaper Marca reported that Enric Masip, a consultant to the Barcelona club presidency, attacked Real Madrid, accusing it of exploiting the Negreira case to tarnish Barcelona's image and influence public opinion, in order to distract from its own problems. He affirmed that these media campaigns harm the competitiveness of La Liga and have crossed acceptable boundaries. He also stated that Barcelona's successes were achieved through the performance of its players on the field, not because of conspiracies. Additionally, he condemned the biased tactics used by Real Madrid, describing them as a "disgrace," and criticized José Mourinho's statements. He praised Barcelona coach Hansi Flick's approach to rivalry and respect for referees, emphasizing the club's confidence in the integrity of officials and criticizing media manipulation in refereeing issues, especially concerning the upcoming El Clásico match.
