Al-Taawoun President Counters Referee Bias
Al-Makharij Corriente, the chairman of Al-Taawoun Club, Badr Al-Ghannam, has protested the referee of his team's match against Al-Qadsia, accusing him of favoritism towards Al-Qadsia. He pointed out that the referee overlooked issuing yellow cards to Al-Qadsia's Musab Al-Juwair three times, aiming to reduce the risk of him being suspended before the upcoming match against Al-Hilal. The game concluded with a narrow 1-0 victory for Al-Qadsia, scored by Tijani Rayenders just before the end of the second half. This result propelled Al-Qadsia to the top of the Saudi Pro League table with 25 points, one point ahead of Al-Hilal, which has played one match less.
