Allegri responds to De Bruyne dispute
Napoli, the Italian club, faced a crisis concerning the relationship between their coach, Massimiliano Allegri, and Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne, following their defeat in the Champions League against Villarreal (3-1). The match saw a tactical disagreement between the two; Allegri had asked De Bruyne to fall back defensively, but he did not comply, which angered Allegri. In a press conference, Allegri denied any resentment towards De Bruyne's actions, explaining that the disagreement was due to a misunderstanding on the pitch caused by language barriers between them. He assured that both parties will understand each other better in the future. Napoli is currently eighth in the Italian league with 10 points and is preparing to face Venezia.
