Rodgers discusses rotation and Abu Al-Shamat's growth
Al-Qadsiah coach Brendan Rodgers revealed that the rotation strategy will continue in upcoming matches, despite the 2-1 victory over Abha in the ninth round of the Saudi Pro League. He explained that the changes included some key players like Julian, and that the rotation aims to give them rest and to benefit from the level of the substitutes. He also confirmed that the victory came after a long week that included travel to Uzbekistan, and that performance improved in the second half thanks to the efforts of the players, especially the substitutes. He commended the development of team player Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat, who was awarded Man of the Match. Additionally, he indicated that weather conditions, such as heat and humidity, impact the players' efforts, and expressed his satisfaction with the result and the players' progress.
