Mourinho criticizes Vini Jr. suspension before Roma's comeback

José Mourinho, the head coach of Real Madrid, launched a harsh attack on the football authorities in Spain following the decision to suspend their winger, Vinícius Júnior, for four matches just hours before the encounter with Roma in the Champions League, due to his red card in the Villarreal match. He confirmed that the decision is "shameful" and illogical, especially as the player was informed shortly before the game, pointing out that this hampers his preparations and highlights the authorities' haste in making decisions. He also expressed his frustration with the congested match schedule, particularly after his team played against Valencia following a long trip from Greece, considering this unreasonable and an attempt to pressure the club. Despite these challenges, he praised his team's dramatic 4-3 victory over Roma after being 3-1 down.
