Real Madrid Benches Reaction to La Liga Ruling
The decision by La Liga to schedule the Real Madrid vs. Valencia match on Saturday, November 7, has caused significant discontent within the club. The team is under increased pressure due to its proximity to the upcoming European match against Roma, which is set for Wednesday, October 11. This tight schedule limits the preparation period and affects the team's readiness. The team will travel to Rome after the match against Athletic Bilbao on October 17 and will train in Valdebebas instead of the Olympic Stadium in Rome, a decision that has angered the coaching staff and players, who feel that the tight timetable complicates their readiness. Their frustration is heightened by La Liga's decision to schedule the Spanish league match a few days before the European fixture, with top European clubs, including Real Madrid, playing domestic matches on Sunday, November 8, after the international break ends. This has raised concerns within the club about its impact on player performance. This decision represents a new challenge to the fixture schedule and raises questions about its effects on player rest and team preparations.
