Training License Scandal in South America

Investigations have uncovered a South American network that supplies coaches and qualified athletes with illegal coaching licenses in exchange for money, offering fast-track certificates in just ten days, bypassing official regulations. The case involves prominent football figures, including Brazilian stars, and traces back to a fraudulent scheme led by Alejandro Mancosso, a former assistant to Maradona, who justified the shortcuts by claiming that stars do not need lengthy courses. The scandal could result in the revocation of licenses from top coaches and expand investigations related to Brazil and Argentina to dismantle forgery rings.
