Walker asserts Manchester City titles are secure
Manchester City faces the possibility of losing its previous titles earned between 2009 and 2018 due to allegations of financial fair play violations in the Premier League, with the potential removal of trophies such as the Champions League, the League Cup, and the Community Shield. Former player Kyle Walker, who won several titles with the team including the 2023 Champions League, opposes the idea of stripping titles, emphasizing that these achievements are part of his career and cannot be erased, and that trophies won legitimately by the club should not be taken away from players and fans. The club continues to defend itself and has appealed the verdict, amid ongoing legal proceedings that may impact the team's historical record.
