Former West Ham Player Turns to Boxing After Sudden Call

London is currently preparing to host the debut boxing match of former West Ham defender James Collins, who is 43 years old. He decided to take on this challenge after retiring from football in 2019. Despite lacking prior boxing experience, Collins accepted the challenge quickly after an unexpected call following his scheduled opponent's withdrawal. He has undergone serious training to improve his fitness, relying on his strong upbringing that prepared him for intense confrontations. Collins aims to encourage his former football colleagues to return to boxing training through this participation. He hopes that audiences will see him as someone who has embarked on a new and successful experience after the fight. The bout will be against Charlie Roberts, known as "Big Stax," and will be part of the Mipsites events in London. It is considered one of the top sporting events in the region, with expectations that this match will be one of the most intense athletic tests in the career of the former defender.
