Harry Kane, captain of the England national team, set the record for most international appearances by a "Three Lions" player after participating in his 125th match against the Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League, equaling the previous record held by former goalkeeper Peter Shilton. Kane is also one of the top scorers in the history of the team, having scored 89 goals before the Czech game, surpassing Wayne Roney by 36 goals. He is aiming to break the record in the upcoming match against Croatia on November 12. Kane continues his prolific scoring form, adding a goal against the Czech Republic, bringing his total to 11 goals this season with both club and country. These achievements represent the ongoing excellence of his career since it began in 2015, and he has been the team captain since 2018. Former England legend Shilton congratulated him on his accomplishments.
