Cristiano Ronaldo apologizes and asks the federation for discipline
Cristiano Ronaldo apologized for leaving the Portuguese national team camp before the Denmark match in the UEFA Nations League andRequested the Portuguese Football Federation to impose disciplinary actions against him. His behavior was a protest against comments made by his coach, Jorge Jesus, regarding his authority in selecting the lineup, which sparked controversy over his leadership and his position as the team captain. According to the Portuguese Football Federation regulations, Ronaldo could face suspension ranging from one month to six months and a fine of up to approximately 1,000 euros if his departure is deemed unjustified, as part of disciplinary measures against players who leave camps without valid reasons.
